New Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock 'really enjoyed' his return to the dug-out after watching his team draw 1-1 at Blackpool.
The former Sheffield United manager saw Tom Soares put the Eagles ahead before David Fox equalised for the Seasiders.
Despite surrendering their lead, Warnock was pleased with his players.
Challenge
He said: "I really enjoyed it and once we had taken the lead I thought we'd go on and win it.
"My stomach was churning before the game, it's a nice challenge at a new club and the players didn't let me down.
"I want our players to enjoy coming to work. We will win some but we will lose some and I just want everyone to enjoy it."
Goalscorer Soares turned from hero to villain after he was sent off in the 88th minute for a stamp on Andy Welsh but Warnock had every sympathy with his player.
He said: "It was very unlucky, Tom couldn't get out of their player's way, but we won't be appealing. In fact, even with 10 men I thought we could have gone on and won it."
Snatched
Blackpool manager Simon Grayson was also happy with a point.
"I knew Palace would come out and have a go as all teams do with a new manager, but especially so with Neil Warnock," he said.
"We almost snatched it in the second half but there were lots of ifs, buts and maybes," said Grayson, who was down to his last 16 fit players because of injuries.
"Andy Morrell woke up with a bad back. I tried to sign two players on loan on Friday, I tried 20 players in the last seven to 10 days but can't seem to get anyone to come here."
