Hull City have wrapped up the £450,000 capture of Colchester United defender Wayne Brown. The former Ipswich and Watford man has penned a three-year deal with The Tigers after passing a routine medical.
The move ends weeks of speculation over Brown's future and the 29-year-old is now looking forward to linking-up his new team-mates.
"The last two-and-a-half weeks have been a frustrating time for myself," he told the club's official website.
"Obviously I wanted to get here at the earliest opportunity and I was hoping the deal would be sorted before the lads went away to Italy.
"But we had to be patient. Obviously I'm delighted the move has finally come about and I can't wait to get started at training on Monday."
