Brentford were held to a 1-1 draw by Barnsley at Griffin Park.

The promotion chasing Bees could have moved level with fifth placed Hartlepool United with a victory, but they could not overcome their South Yorkshire opposition.

Michael Boulding had put Barnsley ahead when he headed home after 34 minutes.

Brentford did make sure they took a share of the spoils thanks to defender Sam Sodje's goal on the hour mark.

Colchester sealed their first home win since November with a 5-0 hammering of Walsall.

The U's went ahead after 18 minutes when Craig Fagan fired home from the penalty spot.

Just four minutes later Fagan (pictured) added a second before Gavin Johnson (34) fired home.

On the stroke of half time Gareth Williams added another for United to put the game beyond any doubt.

Stephen Hunt wrapped up the victory in the final minute.
