Stoke manager Mark Hughes has told other clubs to forget any hopes they have of signing former Barcelona player Bojan Krkic.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to Liverpool during the transfer window having impressed since joining the Potters in the summer for £3m.
Krkic has scored four goals in 17 appearances for Stoke this season, including the winner in last weekend’s 1-0 victory away to Leicester, prompting Hughes to issue a ‘hands-off’ warning to would be suitors ahead of Monday's FA Cup fourth-round game with Rochdale at Spotland.
"He's done exceptionally well. We knew it would take a little bit of time for him to get to grips with the Premier League and he's done that,” said Hughes.
"He's playing well. He's a talented football player and I think he's proving that in the Premier League.
"At this stage of his career that he's had disappointments such as being sent out on loan by Barcelona, the disappointments he had in terms of his game time and maybe how he was treated in certain situations.

"So he's come here and really embraced what we're doing and I think he's enjoying the environment that we can give him.
"I think he's very happy. We have no intention of encouraging any interest in him.
