Tranmere have completed the signing of Stoke striker Mamady Sidibe on loan until the end of the season.
The League One side were favourites to land the 33-year-old and manager Ronnie Moore has finally got his man.
Mali international Sidibe had a spell on loan at Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season and will now boost Moore's options as he attempts to guide Rovers, currently sixth in League One, into the Championship.
"I'm delighted to bring Mamady in on loan, he's the big target man I've been looking for and we have beaten quite a few teams to get him," said Moore.
