Danny Higginbotham: Has fallen out of favour at the the Britannia Stadium
Sky Sports understands that Leicester are looking to take experienced defender Danny Higginbotham on loan from Stoke.
The 33-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Britannia Stadium and was allowed to take in a spell at Nottingham Forest last season.
Higginbotham re-joined Stoke in 2008 and has now spent five years on the club's books over the course of two successful stints.
Tony Pulis has, however, favoured other options of late and will not stand in Higginbotham's way if he goes in search of regular game time.
Leicester are prepared to offer him those opportunities in their Championship promotion bid and are believed to be readying an approach.
