Ajax sell youngster and now target Moroccan replacement

Ajax have confirmed the departure of Aras Ozbiliz with the forward joining Russian side Kuban Krasnodar for around €1million (£800,000). The 22-year-old started last week's Dutch Super Cup match against PSV Eindhoven and had two years remaining on his deal in Amsterdam. But Ajax have opted to sell the Armenia international, who has been chased by Kuban Krasnodar - and the club's Armenian chairman - for some time. Ozbiliz made his debut for Ajax in November 2010 and appeared 37 times for the Eredivisie side, scoring three goals. The Dutch club are already working to bring in a replacement with a deal for the Heerenveen winger Oussama Assaidi expected to be completed soon. The 23-year-old Morocco international scored 10 league goals for Heerenveen last season.
