Werder Bremen have confirmed an interest in Marko Arnautovic, with the striker tipped to leave FC Twente again over the summer.
Arnautovic has spent the past season on loan at Inter Milan, but the European champions have decided against making the move permanent.
The 21-year-old has a further two years remaining on his contract at Twente, but is reportedly keen to join another club before the start of next season.
Bremen have been linked with a bid and general manager Klaus Allofs has revealed that Arnautovic is one of the players being considered.
"He is definitely a player we are considering," Allofs told Bild.
"He is a good player and every good player will always have the skills to join Werder Bremen.
"But there are also financial aspects we will have to consider. We have our ideas on a value of a potential signing.
"We will have to wait and see in which direction this case will be continued (by Twente Enschede). And then we will know if we will follow up our interest or not."
