Clough to make decision on out-of-contract players

Derby's out-of-contract players are set for imminent talks regarding their futures. Defender Jay McEveley and midfielders Gary Teale and Lee Hendrie, who is on loan at Brighton, will all see their current deals expire this summer. McEveley scored the opening goal in the Rams' 2-0 win over Cardiff on the final day of the Championship campaign. "We will speak to those who are out of contract on Tuesday," said Rams manager Nigel Clough. "Jay and Tealey are two, and Lee is another. "Brighton's season does not end for another week but I think he knows the situation." Meanwhile, Derby's pre-season friendly against Fiorentina has been cancelled due to 'unforeseen circumstances.' The game against the Italian club was scheduled to take place at Pride Park on 31st July. The Rams will now host Birmingham on that day.
