Stoke striker Ricardo Fuller admits fellow Premier League new boys Hull are proving an inspiration for the Potters.
Hull have enjoyed a superb start to life in the top flight, sitting in sixth spot after winning three of their opening six games.
The Tigers caused one of the biggest shocks in Premier League history last weekend when they came from behind to beat Arsenal and Fuller says Stoke are keen to follow their lead.
"They [Hull] are like an inspiration to us at the moment because they have come from where we came from the Championship," Fuller told Sky Sports News.
"They came third and came up via the play-offs and they are actually doing ever so well.
Achievement
"They have won three games so that is a great achievement for a club coming out of the Championship, especially beating Arsenal."Fuller comes up against his former team Portsmouth this weekend and he still has a lot of feeling for the South Coast club.
"I feel we need the points and I play for Stoke, but I would be sad to score against Portsmouth as they have done everything good for me and I respect them," added Fuller.
