Summer signing set for City Ground exit

Nottingham Forest are believed to have told midfielder Neil Lennon that he is free to leave the club. The former Northern Ireland international only arrived at the City Ground from Celtic during the summer, but after finding first-team opportunities hard to come by of late he is now looking to move on again. He has started just four times in the last two months and was left out of the squad all together for the 2-2 draw with Millwall on Wednesday. Forest boss Colin Calderwood is understood to be reluctant to part with one of the most experienced members of his squad while the club are still chasing promotion from League One, but he understands the player's frustrations and has bowed to his demands. Championship trio Plymouth, Stoke and Burnley are rumoured to be interested in acquiring Lennon's services should he decide to call time on his short spell in Nottingham.
