Stoke City have signed youngster Carl Dickinson to his first professional contract.
The midfielder, who turned 19 last Friday, joins manager Johan Boskamp's first team after four years in the club's youth academy.
Dickinson had a Man-of-the Match performance on his Stoke debut against Sheffield United on Saturday and was delighted to receive a deal from the Championship outfit.
"I'm just glad to be part of the whole squad," Dickinson told the club's official website.
"I'm really happy Saturday went so well and hopefully the manager will give me another chance to perform again before the end of the season."
