Stoke looking for Lovre

Stoke boss Johan Boskamp is hoping to raid his old club Anderlecht again.

Stoke boss Johan Boskamp is hoping to raid his old club Anderlecht again for a new signing.

Boskamp has already taken Junior and Martin Kolar on loan from Anderlecht this season and he is hoping to strike a similar deal for Goran Lovre.

Lovre is considering his future at Anderlecht with his current contract due to expire at the end of the season.

Anderlecht have offered him an extension and if he stays with the Belgian giants they could be willing to loan him out to Stoke so that he can get valuable first team action.

"Anderlecht want to keep him and have offered him a three-year contract that he is now considering," said Boskamp.

"It is good news if he signs because if he stays and the coach doesn't want him at the moment, then my Anderlecht friends will let us have him.

"They say for six months or one-and-a-half years. I don't want him for just six months, but I would love him for one-and-a-half years. But if he does not want to sign the contract, we may lose him to another club

"It is no secret I am after midfielders who can score us goals. Lovre has that quality."
