With another round of international matches done and dusted, we take a look at the standout performers from each Premier League club.

Arsenal: Danny Welbeck limped off in the second-half of Scotland's win over England holding his hamstring and is now a doubt for Arsenal's Saturday Night Football clash with Manchester United. However, Wojciech Szczesny kept his third clean sheet in four Euro 2016 qualifying matches as Group D leaders Poland won 4-0 in Georgia, Tomas Rosicky helped Czech Republic maintain their perfect record in Group A with a 2-1 victory over Iceland, and Germany's Lukas Podolski grabbed an assist in the 4-0 win against Gibraltar.

Aston Villa: Second-half substitute Christian Benteke saw two late chances saved as Belgium were held to a goalless draw at home by Wales in their Euro 2016 Group B qualifier. Meanwhile, Carlos Sanchez’s Colombia came from behind to beat Brad Guzan’s United States 2-1 at Craven Cottage in a friendly match.

Burnley: Danny Ings had a night to remember on Thursday as he scored twice at Turf Moor to help England U21s beat Portugal 3-1. Michael Keane and Nathaniel Chalobah were also involved in the encounter.

Chelsea: Serbia duo Branislav Ivanovic and Nemanja Matic were left fuming after their side was beaten 3-1 at home by Denmark in their Group I Euro 2016 qualifier. Captain Ivanovic said: “'The players are obviously unaware what it means to put on a Serbia shirt and play for the national team." However, Filipe Luis, Willian and Oscar will return to Cobham with a spring in their step after helping Brazil beat Austria 2-1 in a friendly in Vienna.

Wayne Hennessey and Ashley Williams were at the centre of a resilient Wales defence against Belgium

Crystal Palace: Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey will be buoyed after he played a key role in Wales' important 0-0 draw in Belgium, in their Euro 2016 Group B qualifier. The Welsh stopper pulled off a couple of fantastic late on to earn a vital point for Chris Coleman's men and will be pushing for a starting spot in the Super Sunday clash against Liverpool.

Everton: Steven Naismith earned the bragging rights over team-mates Seamus Coleman, Darron Gibson and Aiden McGeady as Scotland beat Republic of Ireland 1-0 in their Euro 2016 qualifier on Friday. Hull City: Robbie Brady scored twice to help Republic of Ireland beat USA 4-1 in a friendly in Dublin on Tuesday night. There was a longer journey home for youngster Calaum Jahraldo-Martin, though, who was involved in the Caribbean Cup for Antigua and Barbuda as they were beaten by Jamaica and Martinique.

Leicester City: Riyad Mahrez will return to the King Power Stadium delighted with his display after Algeria beat Ethopia 3-1 in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying. The winger provided a brilliant assist for Algeria’s opener before netting himself with a fine curling shot. Chris Wood was also on the scoresheet, netting on his first outing as New Zealand captain as the All Whites drew 1-1 against China in a friendly. Will that inspire him to end Leicester's four-game wait for a goal this weekend?

Manchester United: Louis van Gaal was left cursing his luck as Daley Blind suffered a long-term knee injury in the Netherlands’ 6-0 victory over Latvia, David de Gea dislocated a finger during training with Spain and Luke Shaw limped off at Celtic Park with a tight hamstring. Angel di Maria was also taken to hospital for x-rays on his foot but Argentina boss Gerardo Martino says the blow he received from club-mate Nani is 'nothing serious'. Van Gaal will at least have been pleased to see Wayne Rooney hit three in two games for England and Robin van Persie find the net for the Netherlands.
