Southampton goalkeeper Kelvin Davis is eager to return in Sunday's South Coast derby at Portsmouth.
Davis missed last weekend's 2-2 draw against Blackpool through injury and his replacement, Bartosz Bialkowski, gifted the visitors a goal.
The 35-year-old is edging closer to fitness and looking forward to his first trip to Fratton Park as a Saints player.
"I played there with Sunderland and with some reserve teams so it's not somewhere I'm new to but I haven't been there with a Saints side so that will be interesting," he told the club's
official website.
"We've got a good mix of experience and youth in our dressing room and I can imagine everyone has some experience of a derby game from before, so I don't think it's anything that anyone will be apprehensive about.
"We're full of confidence, full of quality and will be going into the game knowing what we want to achieve."

Meanwhile, Portsmouth midfielder David Norris knows just how much the derby means to the Fratton Park faithful.
Pompey will host the Championship leaders on the back of two straight wins but taking three points from their fierce rivals will mean far more than any other victory this season.
"I'm really looking forward to it," said Norris. "I knew it was a big game but as it's getting closer I'm starting to realise more and more just what it means to the fans.
"For about six weeks now if you've talked to any of the supporters it's the only thing they've gone on about. It makes you realise how big a game it actually is.
"We'll do our best not to let them down and we'll hopefully be celebrating a win at the final whistle.
"The fans don't have to worry about us not knowing how important it is to them. We're determined to win it for them."
