Southampton manager Nigel Adkins expects a busy couple of days until the transfer window closes on Wednesday.
Adkins is still in the market for a striker and is armed with the money from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's switch to Arsenal. He was linked with Sam Baldock until the MK Dons frontman moved to West Ham, and is now rumoured to be looking at Leicester's Martyn Waghorn. "There's going to be mass speculation between now and midnight on Wednesday and there's a lot of phone calls that will go on," said Adkins.
