Jaidi dares to face Devils

Radhi Jaidi sees Saturday's FA Cup tie with Manchester United as a chance to gauge how far Southampton have progressed.

Saints will put their League One promotion bid on hold for 90 minutes when they host Sir Alex Ferguson's all-star side in the fourth round. "We can put this as a reference for when Southampton get back into the Premier League," said the defender. "We can see how we are going to do against the big teams. "The fans are all excited to get Manchester United at home, but it's not our first target to win the FA Cup, it's a one-off game where you have to fight for prestige. "We are going to play against a big Premier League team who are first in the table and who have the big stars, so we'll try to play our best, play as well as we can do and see our level compared with theirs."
