Southampton striker Bradley Wright-Phillips says he has "learned a lot" from Stern John.
John arrived from Sunderland in August as part of the deal which took Kenwyne Jones to Wearside, and former Manchester City forward Wright-Phillips acknowledges the Trinidad & Tobago international's experience has helped his own game.
He said: "I've learned a lot from Stern but also the people who were playing in front of me last year.
"We've got good strikers in the squad and whatever the starting two is we'll do alright.
"Obviously there is always room for improvement but I've got to keep doing what I'm doing."
