Colin Calderwood wants to sign new players - if they have the right personality.
Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood has responded to speculation that he is looking to add to his squad in the transfer window by confirming that he is looking to bring someone in - but only if they have the right personality.Forest have been linked with a bid for Southampton midfielder David Prutton, who made his name at The City Ground before moving to the South Coast in 2003, as well as moves for defenders Luke Chambers and Matt Lockwood, who play for Northampton and Leyton Orient respectively.
But, while Calderwood did admit he wants to bring more players in, he insists they must have the character to boost the side both on and off the pitch.
"I'll be looking to bring in someone who will be an addition - not just in terms of his ability, but also in the dressing room," he told the official Nottingham Forest website.
"Someone who comes with a character and a personality; who wants to be a team player and nothing else - not someone who comes for a wee bit of kudos of being a Nottingham Forest player and the prospect of winning a championship.
"I want someone who brings their personality to the club and is prepared to earn the respect of the players who are already in the dressing room because they are a good group and know what is good and bad."
He is, however, refusing to name any names until they put pen-to-paper.
"There will be lots and lots of speculation and I'm not surprised we're being linked with players.
"We won't tell anyone about our business until it is done and at the moment there's nothing to say."
