Southampton boss Harry Redknapp continues to scour the continent for fresh talent.Southampton boss Harry Redknapp continues to scour the continent for fresh talent by taking two new players on trial.
The Saints chief has recently looked at Pantelis Konstantinidis, Djamel Belmadi and Rui Marques and will now run the rule over Tomasz Hajto and Sebastien Carole.
Hajto is a 32-year-old central defender who played 17 games for Nuremburg last term, having previously plied his trade for Schalke.
Midfielder Carole, 22-years-old, is currently at Monaco but has experience of English football having played for West Ham on-loan in the 2003/04 campaign.
Carole spent last season on-loan at Chateauroux and could now be set for a further spell away from the Principality.
Meanwhile, Konstantinidis has confirmed that he would be keen on a permanent switch to St Mary's - despite the fact Redknapp has intimated that a deal is unlikely.
"I am very satisfied with Southampton,'' said Konstantinidis.
''They are well organised and everything is perfect for a professional player.
''We have an economical difference, but I wish that it's not going to be an obstacle for the conclusion of the signing.
''I am going to wait for Southampton until the weekend and if their answer to my requests is negative then I will look for something else.
''I want to play abroad but if I have no good offers from European clubs, I will try to make the best choice in Greece.''
