Southampton boss Harry Redknapp has been forced to recall striker Dexter Blackstock from his loan spell with Plymouth Argyle.

The 20-year-old has scored four times for The Pilgrims in a loan spell that was not due to end until May.

Redknapp had to recall the youngster due to the injury crisis at St Mary's with Henri Camara the latest player to be struck down.

Brett Ormerod was recently recalled from Wigan because giant striker Peter Crouch is still a major doubt for Saturday's crucial clash with Norwich City.

The Saints may be forced to pair Blackstock and Ormerod - who have only one Premiership goal between them this season - against Norwich in what is their biggest game of the season.
