Jo Tessem is grateful to Saints' caretaker boss Steve Wigley for giving him another chance.
Jo Tessem is delighted to be back in contention for a first team place at Southampton.
The versatile Norweigen was frozen out under the recently departed Paul Sturrock, and went back to his old club Lyn Oslo on loan at the end of last season.
However, new Southampton caretaker boss Steve Wigley is willing to give Tessem another chance, and the 22-year old is training with the first team again.
"Wigley is a good man for us and the hire of him put me in another situation. I have been out for quite a long time, but now I am back training with the first team," Tessem told NTB.
"I'm much more more involved here now after been out of the system for a while. However, I need time to get back in match shape - luckily we have got a long break before our next match."
