Wolves defender Danny Batth expects to be fit for the start of next season following surgery on his injured foot.
Centre-half Batth, who has played every minute in the league this term, has been struggling with a stress fracture in recent weeks and will have an operation on Tuesday.
"It's obviously disappointing to end the season now but to get this operation and the work in the summer gives me a good chance to be ready for the start of next season," Batth told the club's official website.
"It has been a good and enjoyable season for me but I want to improve and do better next year."
Batth, who had played 90 consecutive league games under manager Kenny Jackett, will be sidelined for three months.
He added: "I have been thinking about it and I've probably not had an injury for four years which I think is good going.
"Especially when you consider the speed of the game and the amount of games that I have played.
"To have played 90 league games on the spin is something I am very proud of and is something I would certainly want to do again."
