Wolves have won their appeal against Rajiv van La Parra's red card against Bournemouth - but Matt Doherty's dismissal will stand.

The club have confirmed Van La Parra's straight red in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to the Cherries has been rescinded.

The Independent Regulatory Commission has upheld the claim for wrongful dismissal after the winger was sent off for seemingly clashing heads with Steve Cook.

Doherty, though, will miss three games after his claim for wrongful dismissal was rejected following his late challenge on Brett Pittman.

The decisions made by referee Mike Jones at Molineux contributed to chairman Steve Morgan confronting the official pitch-side at the end of the game.

Morgan faces his own FA charge of insulting the official and has until 6pm on Thursday to respond.
