Sky Bet Championship: Wolves forward Dicko still suffering with hamstring problems

Nouha Dicko has suffered a further injury blow and is a major doubt for Wolves' clash against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The forward missed Mali's 2-0 defeat against Malawi at the weekend with the tight hamstrings which have sidelined him for Wolves' last three games.

He returned to the club on Monday and is being assessed by Wolves ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship visit of Forest.

"Dicko felt his hamstring in training and has come back, so we shall see," head coach Kenny Jackett, who had given Dicko the green light to link up with Mali, told the club's official site.

"As for this Saturday, I think he's extremely doubtful. He flew back into the country yesterday and he's doubtful for Saturday, but you never know.

"We'll see - the good thing is there's no damage but it's recurring so it does seem as if there's an underlying problem.

"He was sensible enough to not involve himself on Saturday and get a flight back.

"It doesn't seem to be too bad. It's only some tightness but it shows how close it was last week and how unpredictable hamstring injuries can be.

"Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it and make sure he has no more problems."

Dicko's absence could see Sunderland loanee Danny Graham make his debut after he joined on loan until the end of the year last week.

"He's an experienced player who I think will bring some know how to our forward line, which we do need," Jackett said.

"I've no problems with his character fitting in. He'll be determined during this loan period to make a good impression, to get playing and scoring goals and get his career going again."
