Sky Bet Championship: Carl Ikeme staying calm despite good start at Wolves

Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme insists Wolves will not get carried away following their promising start to the season.

Ikeme was the star man and saved a penalty in Wanderers' 1-0 victory over Bolton at the weekend. The result lifted the promoted club to third in the Championship, one point behind leaders Nottingham Forest.

But the goalkeeper knows Kenny Jackett's men now have to maintain their form throughout the whole season.

"It's so early on," he told the club's official website.

"When the weekend's match is finished and you're back in training you've got to move forward quickly and start worrying about the next game.

"You have to improve, you can't stay still and to be honest all the lads here are trying to improve every week so it's something everyone at the club is trying to do.

"Everyone's got a professional attitude here and that's what we need to keep doing throughout the season."
