Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has refused to rule out re-signing Steven Fletcher, should Sunderland opt to send him out on loan.

The Molineux outfit are looking for a striker to recruit until January, and 27-year-old Fletcher has been mentioned as a possible option.

The Scotland international striker left Wolves for Sunderland in the summer of 2012, but his absence from the Black Cats' last two matches has raised speculation that he could be available on loan.

Jackett has insisted that the Championship club have not made an approach for Fletcher, but is open to bringing him back if the opportunity arises.

"He's not one we've pursued but we'll see - we're always looking at players and you never know where you go," he told the Express and Star.
