Hause hails Chairboys

New Wolves defender Kortney Hause has praised his former club Wycombe for trusting him with first-team football.

The 18-year-old left the Chairboys for Molineux on transfer deadline day. Hause had made 20 first-team appearances for the Sky Bet League Two club this season, having played 11 times the year before. And he feels Wycombe's willingness to put faith in young players has helped his progression as a footballer. "Things turned out very well for me at Wycombe and I need to thank them for that," he told Wolves' official website. "I've played a fair few first-team games already, Wycombe is a good club in giving players opportunities and all the staff and the fans are very supportive. "They stick by you whatever happens. "I will always be grateful to Wycombe as being the club which gave me the opportunity to play first-team football. "I will always be thankful for that but it is time to move on now and for some more non-stop hard work to hopefully be successful at this club too."
