Kevin Doyle has expressed a willingness to stay at Wolves and help the club back into the Premier League. Wolves were relegated last season after a dismal campaign in which they picked up just 25 points and were cut adrift at the foot of the table. Doyle has subsequently been linked with a number of top-flight teams including Southampton and Swansea as well as former club Reading. But the 28-year-old striker still has three years remaining on his contract at Molineux and appears comfortable with the prospect of life in the Championship under new boss Stale Solbakken. "I'm looking forward to working with the new manager," said the Republic of Ireland international.

Experience

"He's got some fantastic experience in his career. He'll have new ideas which he'll be getting across to us and we'll all get used to each other. "I've experienced it before so I know what it's going to be like. You can have a good season after relegation and I was very close to going straight back up with Reading. "It was a lot different to being in the bottom three and being beaten so many times. "In the Championship, you do win more games and get that confidence back again. You can hopefully be closer to the top and the fans and players enjoy it more. "Hopefully we're not going to be coming in on a Monday wondering why we've got beat again and we're going to be competing with the top teams. That has to be the aim. "We need to get the winning feeling back and the confidence that brings."
