Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken has assured the club's fans that he and his players will do their utmost to return to the Premier League.
Wolves will play in the Championship next season following their relegation from the English top flight at the end of last campaign.
Solbakken was announced as the new Wolves boss in May and officially took over the first team last week, and is looking forward to a successful 2012/13 season at Molineux.
"I can't promise anything but I know expectations are high for the team to do well," he is quoted as saying by Wolves' official website.
"As a coach, you expect fans to have expectations and you would rather that than them not having expectations.
Giving their all
"We will try everything we can to keep them happy and if we do that, then I think we will have a good season.
"We will try hard to do well in every game and if we do, then we have a chance of doing well.
"I have seen sides from the Championship and many teams want to compete for the top six places, so we have to start well.
"But I'm looking forward to it and I think the fans have reasons to be optimistic.
"I know that last season was a difficult one, but it was the same for me too, so we are all looking for revenge this season.
"I'm glad to be back here and looking forward to getting started again - I feel really positive."
