Wolves still confident of securing Premier League survival

Kevin Foley does not believe Wolves are doomed for relegation despite a run of poor form and has backed the players to turn things around. Wolves find themselves bottom of the table for the first time this season, and three points from safety following Queens Park Rangers' dramatic victory over Liverpool. However, there are still nine games remaining and Foley believes his side can enjoy a strong finish to beat the drop. The 27-year-old said: "After the last few results and at the stage we are in the season I think everyone has probably written us off.

Good chance

"We are used to being in this position and hopefully we can show some character and come through these next nine games and stay in the league. "We haven't written things off - 100 per cent we haven't. The fans stuck by us on Saturday and that was appreciated by the players because it was tough out there. "It's that sort of attitude, that never-say-die spirit of everyone being in it together, that we need so we can fight as hard as we can over these next nine games. "It can be done - we've still got a good chance. It might just be one result or one performance which turns things around."
