Wolves defender hoping to be involved in squad at West Brom

Wolves defender Jody Craddock has returned to full training and says he will be fit and available for next weekend's derby against West Brom. The veteran centre-back has been out with a hamstring injury and has yet to play in the Premier League this season. However, he is now on the comeback trail and will turn out for the reserves against Aston Villa on Tuesday. "I trained on Tuesday, we had Wednesday off and I trained Thursday," Craddock said in the Birmingham Mail.

Rehab

"We've got the reserve game against Villa and I'm hoping, fingers-crossed, you obviously do progression work and rehab. "I got to the point where I'd done as much as I possibly could of rehab, then it was a case of getting through a couple of days of training then I'll do the reserve game, more training and we'll see." Craddock accepts that he might not get selected in the starting XI for the clash with West Brom at The Hawthorns next Sunday, but he hopes to be involved with the squad. "I'll be fit and available. I'm not saying I will be picked or anything like that, but hopefully I will get through the reserve game," he said. "I love those games and even if I was to travel with the squad and watch it - that would be great."
