Ligue 1 side Sochaux have signed Wolves defender Steven Mouyokolo on a season-long loan deal.
Mouyokolo joined Wolves on a four-year contract from Hull City last summer, but endured a frustrating first season at Molineux.
The 24-year-old made just seven first-team appearances for Mick McCarthy's side last term in all competitions and has now secured a return to France.
He passed a medical this morning before agreeing a deal that Sochaux can make permanent at the end of the season.
"The FCSM has registered their second arrival with the loan of Wolverhampton Wanderers central defender Steven Mouyokolo," a statement on the club's official website read.
"He will be officially presented on Wednesday afternoon.
"Mouyokolo committed to the club this morning after a meeting and successfully completing his medical.
"The central defender, who turned 24 on January 24, is on loan with the option to buy."
Mouyokolo's previously impressive form during short spells at Gueugnon and Boulogne saw him signed by then-Hull boss Phil Brown in 2009.
The Congolese-born Frenchman becomes Sochaux's second summer signing after the club completed a deal to sign midfielder Sebastien Roudet from Lens.
