Jamie O'Hara hopes Wolves can complete his permanent transfer ahead of a deadline at the end of the week.

Midfielder desperate for £5m deal to be completed within the week

Jamie O'Hara hopes that Wolves can complete his permanent transfer ahead of a deadline at the end of the week. The Tottenham midfielder moved to Molineux on loan in January and he could stay after a fee, believed to be £5million, was agreed with the London club. O'Hara, who scored in Wolves' 3-2 defeat to Blackburn on Sunday which ultimately proved enough to avoid Premier League relegation, is desperate to stay after settling in the Midlands with his family. But the 24-year-old has revealed that Mick McCarthy's Wolves must complete the deal within the week or he could have to return to Tottenham. "There's a deal on the table and Wolves need to say they want me," O'Hara told the Express and Star.

Happy

"A fee has been agreed with Tottenham, but the deal has got to be done within a week. "That's up to the chairman and the gaffer to see what they want to do. "I want to stay. Hopefully the gaffer will want me to stay. Hopefully I'll be speaking to him over the next week or so and get something sorted. "I'm happy here and I'm not going back to London. I'm staying here until I know what's going on. "I've moved out of my house and I'm not planning on going back to London. "Moving up here was the best thing we ever did. I've only been here three months but I'm going on holiday with the boys to Portugal to play golf and we'll leave the wives in the villa."
