Millwall's highly-rated winger James Henry is hoping that his performances this season have not gone unnoticed by others.
The 21-year-old played a pivotal role in the Lions' bid for a place in the Championship play-offs after joining permanently from Reading last summer.
Now the tricky winger, who has represented both England and Scotland at youth level, admits an international call this summer would be the icing on his cake.
"It would be nice to get a call-up from either country and obviously playing international football is the pinnacle of a player's career, but it isn't a priority for me at the moment," he told
skysports.com.
"I'm just focused on playing football week in, week out for Millwall and anything on top of that is a bonus.
"It was disappointing that we couldn't get into the play-offs this season, but we gave it a good go and we will be stronger for the experience next season."
Priority
The Reading-born man never got the chance to ply his trade in the top flight for his hometown club, but he has been linked with several Premier League sides this summer after seeing the Lions fail to finish in the top six.
However, Henry insists that he is fully focused on helping Millwall go one better next season.
"The opportunity to play top flight football next season is a great incentive for anyone to do well and that motivation helps you strive for success," he added.
"My main priority is doing well for Millwall and hopefully doing well enough to get us into the top six next season."
