Wolves have recalled Danny Batth from his loan spell at Sheffield United and the defender is in the squad to face Liverpool.
Batth linked up with the Blades last month and he was due to stay with the Championship club until 3rd January.
He had made one substitute's appearance for the managerless Blades and will now miss the games against Burnley and Doncaster Rovers.
The 20-year-old has been summoned back to Molineux to provide defensive cover, with Wolves in the midst of the busy festive period.
Batth has travelled with the first-team squad for Wednesday's game against Liverpool and he could be on the bench at Anfield.
The promising stopper made his Wolves debut against Southend United in the Carling Cup earlier this season and enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Colchester United last term.
