Boulogne have stepped up their attempts to sign a striker by reportedly offering a contract to former Arsenal frontman Sylvain Wiltord.
The newly promoted Ligue 1 club have struggled for goals this term with just six strikes in their opening eight games.
Boulogne's need for a forward has intensified after captain and striker Gregory Thil, top scorer with just two, recently injured his ankle and was forced to undergo surgery keeping him out for five months.
Boulogne have also taken free agents Henri Camara and former Nice striker Matt Moussilou on a week long trial in a bid to ease their goal scoring problems.
"I have many offers at the moment," Wiltord said. "I am thinking about it and I will make an announcement very soon."
Boulogne head coach Laurent Guyot confirmed that the club were looking for a striker who had experience in the French top flight.

"We are looking for a striker who knows Ligue 1 but we can't be too hard on player profile," he told the
club's official website.
"I have to cope with who I have got. We don't have a choice, we have Moussilou and Camara on trial, successful or not we have to take into account some other stuff."
Guyot has already seen out-of-favour Rennes forward Mickael Pagis reject a move to the north of France while Monaco youngster Yannick Sagbo has also been denied the chance to move on loan.
"I don't want to leave," 36-year-old Pagis stated in
France Football.
"I feel fine at Rennes, my family too. To me it is important. My life is well-balanced, even if on professional level it is difficult.
"Nowadays, well-being of my family is the most important."
