Skysports.com understands Brighton are poised to sign Wolves midfielder Elliott Bennett.
Brighton have been chasing the 20-year-old all summer and they have now agreed a deal to take him to the Withdean Stadium.
Bennett, who enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Bury last season, has found himself well down the pecking order at Wolves and the Premier League new boys are happy to let him move on in search of regular action.
Bennett is believed to have agreed a three-year deal at Brighton and is expected to go straight into the squad for this weekend's game with Hartlepool.
The signing will provide a boost for Seagulls boss Russell Slade following their midweek hammering at Huddersfield.
