Falkirk have confirmed they have rejected a bid from Wolves for prized asset Alan Gow.

Falkirk have confirmed they have rejected a bid from Wolves for prized asset Alan Gow.

The 24-year-old forward is being tracked by a host of clubs and is being linked with a move during this month's transfer period.

Mick McCarthy's outfit have long been linked and now Falkirk have confirmed they have shunned a bid from Wolves.

"Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club have made an offer for the immediate transfer of Alan Gow," said a club statement.

"The offer has been rejected as Falkirk Football Club remain committed to securing Alan on a longer contract and are continuing to have discussions with him."
