Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed defender Keith Lowe will return to Cheltenham Town on loan.

The 21-year-old, who had a spell at Queens Park Rangers last season, started five games in his time with The Robins on loan from September.

Former Wolves assistant and now Robins boss John Ward was keen to bring the academy graduate back to Whaddon Road for a month, and he has been delighted a new deal has gone through.

"Keith did well in the time he was with us and he's a player the fans enjoyed watching," Ward told the club's website.

"I spoke to Mick McCarthy about the possibility of having him back and he invited me to come over and watch Keith play.

"You know what you are getting with Keith. He is a very reliable young player and someone who will give me options.

"The plan is that he'll go straight into the team and play for us against Nottingham Forest on Saturday."
