Veteran goalkeeper Paul Jones has had his contract terminated at Wolves with immediate effect.
The 38-year-old former Southampton player has seen first-team opportunities limited since the arrival manager Glenn Hoddle and the club allowed the Welshman to become a free agent.
Hoddle told the club's official website: "We wish Paul all the best, he has been a good servant to Wolves during his two spells and we hope he finds another club soon."
Jones moved to the Championship side from Southampton in 2004 for £250,000, and has made 44 international appearances for Wales.
Meanwhile, another Jones, Daniel Jones has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 19-year-old left-sided midfielder has signed a three-and-a-half contract until 2009.
