Blackpool continued their transfer activity on Thursday by bringing in a second player from The Championship and letting one of their own squad head out on loan.

Seasiders boss Simon Grayson had already moved for Leicester's Jason Wilcox, as well as extending Leeds starlet Ian Morris' loan deal, and has now raided Wolves for winger Lewis Gobern.

The highly-rated 20-year-old has signed a deal that will initially keep him at Bloomfield Road until January 2 and is expected to make his debut in Saturday's game at Chesterfield.

However, another winger, Rory Prendergast, is heading out of the club having consented to a loan spell at Halifax.

The 27-year-old joined Blackpool in the summer from Accrington Stanley but has failed to cement a first-team spot.

He has now opted to move on to kick-start his season and will remain with The Shaymen until December 31.
