Chesterfield have extended the loan spells of duo Sammy Clingan and Mark Stallard.

Wolves midfielder Clingan has agreed a two-month extension to keep him at Saltergate until January, while Barnsley striker Stallard will remain at the club until the end of December.

Spireites boss Roy McFarland was delighted to be keeping the pair at the club.

"I am delighted that both these players will be with us for a further two months as they provide a very useful depth to the strength of the squad," said McFarland.

"I am very grateful that the board has had faith to sanction these deals despite the financial challenge involved."
