League One leaders Tranmere Rovers have signed Donervorn Daniels on a short-term loan deal from West Brom.

The 18-year-old defender has joined Ronnie Moore's side until January and adds cover to the Rovers backline. Moore said: "I'm pleased to be able to bring Donervorn to the club. "With Mark McChrystal going to Scunthorpe to gain match fitness and Ben Gibson able to be called back by Middlesbrough at any time, we were short at the back so Donervorn will add to our options. "He's only young but he's done well in West Brom's Under-21 side. He's big and strong and I look forward to working with him." The youngster joined Albion from Reading in 2009 and has become a regular in their Under-21 side.
