Shane Long has handed West Brom an injury concern after picking up a hamstring problem.
The striker picked up the injury during last weekend's defeat to Newcastle and he has been sent for a scan on the problem.
Long is now a major doubt for Monday's clash with Southampton at The Hawthorns
Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni has revealed Long's injury after being forced to leave him out of his squad for the upcoming international friendly against Greece later this month.
"Yesterday, he answered me, or the day before yesterday," said Trapattoni.
"We also received an update (from Albion). He has a knock under the knee.
"He has to see a scan again, I don't know. Right now, we don't know. I hope he can play on Monday.
"At the moment, the club doesn't think he will be ready and will let us know if he is ready. I would be surprised if he plays on Monday."
