Tranmere manager Les Parry says he is looking to bring Joss Labadie back to the club on a permanent deal.
Labadie is out of contract at parent club West Brom and Parry is keen to capture the midfielder's signature following a two-month loan spell at Prenton Park.
The 19-year-old helped Rovers secure their League One status after spending time with Cheltenham and Shrewsbury during the campaign.
He also pitched in with three goals in nine appearances for the club which led Parry to put in an offer to secure the youngster's services.
Parry told the club's official website: "We've made Joss an offer and hopefully we can keep him.
"Joss' contract is up at West Brom and we'd like him to come back."
