Shrewsbury lose loan signing to fractured foot

Joss Labadie's loan at Shrewsbury Town has been cut short after the midfielder fractured his foot. The West Brom youngster joined the League Two club on a month's loan last week and made his debut in a 0-0 draw against Bradford City. However, he is out for six weeks after picking up the foot injury in training and has now returned to his parent club. Shrewsbury boss Paul Simpson told the club's official website: "I've been really pleased with what we've seen of Joss so far. "He had a very good debut for us at Bradford and has looked strong in training. It's a massive blow not only for us but also for Joss. "I spoke to him and said that we will keep an eye on him and if the situation is that we still need a midfield player when he's fit then we will look at that and maybe do something then." Simpson added: "We now have to look around again and there are players out there who we have already identified. It's back to the drawing board and to more thinking about what we need."
