Jonas Olsson has spoken of his delight at beginning his West Bromwich Albion career with a triumph.
The Swedish defender joined the Baggies over the summer from Eredivisie side NEC Nijmegen for £800,000.
He made his Premier League bow on Saturday as Tony Mowbray's men defeated West Ham United 3-2.
Of his performance, Olsson told Sportbladet: "I was nervous before the game but it felt like it went well.
"The atmosphere was good in the stadium and it obviously felt good to win."
Olsson went on to admit that he must adapt quickly to England's top flight after playing three years in Holland.
He added: "Most of all I have noticed the pace and the intensity. The game is more physical."
