Mowbray keen on Valero, Trejo and Nunes

Reports in Spain suggest that West Brom are interested in signing three players from Real Mallorca. Spanish midfielder Borja Valero, Argentinean striker Oscar Trejo and Portuguese defender Nunes are all thought to have caught the eye of Baggies scouts. Mallorca have refused to comment on the mounting speculation, but formal discussions are understood to already be underway. The agent of Valero and Trejo, Julio Prieto, claims that Tony Mowbray's men are willing to pay 6million euros (£4.7m) for the former and 5.2million (£4.1m) for the latter.

Impressed

Talks are also thought to be ongoing in regards to a fee for Nunes. The trio impressed the Premier League side during a pre-season friendly at the Hawthorns on Saturday, prompting them to make their approach. However, while Mallorca remain reluctant to discuss the issue, Valero has confused the situation further by claiming that he is unaware of any interest from England. "I do not know anything about it, not from my agent, nor from the club," Valero told Mallorca Diario.
