Curtis Davies has told skysports.com that he believes West Brom still have a great chance of promotion to the Premiership via the Championship play-offs.
The Baggies have won only twice in their last ten outings, and face a potentially nerve-jangling end to the season with a number of sides around them hitting form at the right time.
But defender Davies, who will miss the rest of the campaign with a broken metatarsal, is sure his team-mates can rediscover their best form.
"I'm gutted not to be involved, and the injury obviously came at a bad time. But despite that, with the squad we've got you have to be confident about the run-in," he told skysports.com.
"There are a number of good sides around but we have the experience to pull through this difficult spell and I'm sure we'll go on to prove that."
